The school diary serves as an exchange and a communication tool between parents and teachers

INDIVIDUAL MEETING BETWEEN PARENTS – CLASS TEACHER

 

Saturdays, from 10:30 am, parents wishing to discuss with their children’ teachers can do so and are welcome at school

However, if parents wish to meet the teachers on any other given day, they shall seek permission from the Office before doing so.

AWARENESS TO ABIDE BY THE TRAFFIC CODE AT SCHOOL

 

In entering school premises, the first gate (close to HYGEBAT) is reserved for the Kindergarten students while the second gate (close to ULK) is for the Primary and Secondary Students. On exiting school, students can use both gates.

The school insists that

For the students’ security, parents are asked not to bring in their car in the school premises, except in the event of rain or illness.

Parents coming in their cars have to abide by the Traffic Code, in order to smoothen the traffic and avoid traffic jam. This will serve as a good example to their children.

Parents are asked to use their sense of responsibility in following these recommendations related to the Traffic Code.

PASSING AND REPEATING A CLASS

 

In order to pass from one class to another, the student has to:

Have studied at least two terms, with one necessary being the second term.

Have obtained the average or minimum required grades to pass the class.

The student who would have not fulfilled these conditions shall repeat the class.

 

CONDUCT IN SCHOOL

Each admitted student has to:

Respect thoroughly the school Rules

Communicate in French or English; the use of the Kinyarwanda language is only permitted during the class allocated time for that course;

Respect school authorities (Director, Head of Studies/Discipline, Teachers and other administrative personnel) ;

Respect other students;

Respect school properties and other students’ belongings;

Any rebellious and unruly act (fighting, rudeness, not obeying school authorities, unjustified and prolonged absence, frequent lateness, theft,…) shall severely be punished. The punishment shall take the form of a dismissal of the unruly student from school.
